An important keystone of successful treatment is a comprehensive and holistic medical history. Therefor it is important to examine the exact causes of the complaints in order to not only cure symptoms, but to achieve real and long-term health improvements.

For this reason, we use dark field microscopy in our practices as a comprehensive and thorough anamnesis procedure. For this purpose, we examine only one drop of blood, which we carefully take from your fingertip. This drop of blood is then magnified 1,000 – 10,000 times under a dark field microscope. Now the one-hour examination begins. During this hour you can observe and follow the journey through this drop of blood and your organism on a monitor.

On this exciting and often surprisingly precise expedition through your own body, the alternative practitioner explains the abnormalities and findings that are reflected in your blood. In this type of cause-oriented examination, the focus is on the quality of the blood cells. The quantity of visible cells plays a subordinate role.

The impression of your entire blood environment as well as the shape, grouping and constitution of the individual cells can provide information about potentially endangered organs or even possible diseases in your body.

After you have been informed in detail about the results of the dark field microscopy by your supervising alternative practitioner, a therapy suggestion will be composed individually for you. Your symptoms and complaints as well as the quintessence of the dark field microscopy will be taken into account. Our treatment proposal, which should be optimal for you, usually consists of the components ozone, laser light, homeopathy, isopathy and spagyric. In this way, we aim to combine the right stimuli from natural medicine for you into a harmonious melody, so that your body can once again vibrate on healthy waves.

Following a completed treatment cycle, a follow-up examination is performed under the dark field microscope in order to estimate the treatment effects and, if necessary, to adjust the therapy plan.

Dark-field microscopy is a light microscopy technique that avoids a bright background—instead, only the scattered light, and thus the objects, appear visible against a dark background. This is achieved by ensuring that direct light does not strike the objective lens. As a result, transparent or very fine structures can be visualized with high contrast without staining—even living cells are visible.

Advantages:

  • Visualization of transparent or ultra-fine objects with high contrast, without prior staining.

Disadvantages:

  • Usually, only the edge is visible, not the interior of homogeneous objects.
  • Image blooming may occur with thicker or highly concentrated samples.
  • High cleanliness standards are required, and special capacitors may be necessary.

It is used, among other things, in biology to visualize living microorganisms or fine structures, in microecology (e.g., plankton), in semiconductor and materials testing, and in metallography.

A single drop of blood—typically from a finger or earlobe—is sufficient. Immediately after collection, the sample is examined under a dark-field microscope (at up to about 1,200x magnification)—live and without staining. In naturopathic practices, it is sometimes used as a complementary diagnostic method. It does not constitute a standardized medical diagnostic procedure in the sense of laboratory medicine. Many naturopaths claim to be able to detect deficiencies in vital nutrients, coagulation disorders, or other cellular changes.

In alternative medicine, dark-field microscopy is frequently used as a diagnostic tool, for example, to assess a person’s “state of health” based on their blood or even to identify tendencies toward disease. Particularly due to the theories of Günther Enderlein, it is used as the basis for alternative therapeutic approaches such as “isopathic treatment.”

Scientific Assessment:
The medical and laboratory medicine communities do not consider this to be a reliable diagnostic method. There is no solid scientific evidence that diseases such as cancer can be reliably detected using this method. Live Blood Analysis is considered pseudoscientific and is regarded by experts as unsound.

  • Live observation of blood cells and plasma in real time (e.g., shape, motility, states of aggregation).
  • Indications may include: cell condition, blood flow, potential contamination by microorganisms, or sedimentation behavior.
  • This is a visual assessment—not a standardized laboratory analysis with quantitative results.
